    ANNOUNCEMENT: SWTOR Goes Free to Play – 1.5 patch

    Greetings everyone,

    Yesterday SW:TOR launched the 1.5 patch that opened the F2P stage for this game. (details at: http://www.swtor.com/info/news/press-release/20121115 and at: http://www.swtor.com/free)
    Also, Patch 1.5 opened up the Cartel Marketplace with certain goodies for the old time players (or for those that wants to bought them for real money).

    I just tried the new Section X dailies. Are really awesome …. but a bit hard to be done alone (not impossible, but hard and lenghtly). Best done in teams of 2-3 …

    I was realy looking forward to play TOR again, but i had to quit again soon after loging in. Seeing how chopped up f2p version is, where i have to pay even to get additional action bar or to hide my helmet. No thank you.

    I see your point Nei, but it is free after all. We have to expect some limitations.

    I expected similar limitation as in other f2p mmos, but seriously… this is too much.

    I suppose your right there. The GUI options should not be charged for. Paying for an additional action bar is a bit ridiculous, its not like additional bank slots for example.
