He flew a vulcan space ship,
he was a shining star.
His job to offer battle,
to bad men near and far.
He conquered fear and he conqurered hate,
he turned our night into day.
He used his amazing star ship,
as a torch to light the way.
When outlaws ruled the stars,
and fear filled our lands.
A cry when out for a cat with guts,
to lead with sword in hand.
They needed a cat who was brave and true,
with justice for all as his aim.
Then out of the sun rode a cat with a gun,
and Tom was his name, yes, Tom was his name.
