Excitement Multiplies on Tribble
This was a fantastic weekend on Tribble! Thousands of players donned their captain’s uniform and set forth to explore the Star Trek universe. It seemed like starship captains were multiplying faster than Tribbles set loose in a bin full of quadrotriticale! We have received all kinds of feedback, and I can’t thank you enough for trying the changes at the beginning of the game and for giving us your feedback in the forums.
At this time, I want to announce that we’ll be giving out the traditional unique Tribble award for playing on Tribble. Anyone that gets a Federation character to at least level 6, or levels up a character that they transfer over (once character transfer is active at a later date), will be awarded a unique Tribble item for their character on Holodeck.
As with all the other awards we are giving out for playing on Tribble, we plan to make them available to you after the free-to-play game goes live on Holodeck. We are going to try and do this near when it goes live, but we are promising that it will be within 3 weeks.
Since this is a huge set of changes to gameplay and content, we have decided not to do a single big award based on one goal. Instead, we are giving out a number of smaller awards. This is so that players who come to sample the game on Tribble get a little something for their effort, but also so that those who explore the game with more breadth and depth have the ability to earn additional awards. Few of the awards are going to be awe-inspiring, but as a whole package, our hope is that you’ll feel that your time on Tribble was worthwhile.
