GUILD HUB: DAWN STAR / RANKS, RIGHTS, RESPONSIBILITIES & RULES
Both of our Star Wars, The Old Republic guilds have similar ranking and rules systems, however there are some key differences.
Most of the guild rules relate to rank positions, therefore the information is separated into 2 sections with Ranks and Rules for the specific guild.

Guild Ranks
Our Dawn Star guilds have several rank positions that can be attained. A members ranking will depend on the level of participation and commitment to the guild.
Our guild rankings are based on an equivalency system across the entire Guild Alliance. Please view the Guild Alliance ranking graphic for further clarification.

Rank Requirements, Responsibilities, Rights & Advancement
LEADER TIER
1. Dark Lady/Lord
The guild leader is the highest position in the guild. They have full administrative control of Dawn Star Empire.
This includes setting permissions for each rank and setting the access to the guild bank for each rank. There is one guild leader that oversees the entire operation of the guild and has the power and rights to demote and remove any person from guild duties and responsibilities as they see fit. If a member has to be demoted or removed for any reason, the guild leader will discuss the situation with the Attache and possibly the person in question. Depending on the circumstances and in the best interests of the guild, communication may be given to that member prior to them being revoked or being removed from the guild.
The Guild Leader will support all members of the guild to ensure the guild rules, ranks and regulations are obtained. If there are any major issues within the guild, a guild member must discuss any matter with the Guild Leader or Attache in private.
2. Guild Alliance Council (GAC) (level 65)
This is a trusted role given to members who serve on the ‘Guild Alliance Committee’. This rank aligns with the GAC charter in
1. That a GAC member may hold a position in the second tier rank (i.e. after the Leader/Guild Master position) in any GA Guild as a GAC Representative OR an Officer if they see fit to fill a role and IF the Guild Leader is in agreement.
This rank protects the guild and its operations by ensuring that if the guild leader becomes inactive due to any extreme circumstance, the leadership position will belong to the Guild Alliance Committee.
The GAC will have the permission to promote members from recruit to commander rank, as per the ranking system in DSE and will have a substantial amount of bank funds.
OFFICER TIER
Please Note: All officers in the Officer Tier of ranks are required to create a Facebook account in order to post and advertise guild events.
Your main character will have a personalized designed banner (created by plasma) which you will use to create events in the Guild Alliance Teaming Group and is automatically syndicated on our Guild Alliance website.
We respect personal privacy and ask if you do not want to give out your real life information on Facebook that you create a gaming profile account based on your main character.
3.Attache (level 65)
Attache (level 65): This prestigious rank is assigned by the ‘Guild Leader’ by invitation only. This is an executive role in which the Attache is second in command to the guild leader. The role will involve communicating with the guild leader and discussing guild business frequently, understand and ensure the management, structure, values, and ethos of the guild are held to the highest esteem. The guild leader may assign specific roles to each individual, to assist in the operations of the guild. The Attache will have the power to promote all ranks from Recruit to General rank as per the ranking system in DSE. In the case of an extreme emergency where the guild leader can not be contacted or is not online, the Attache will have full control of the guild operations and will have the permissions to remove or demote any member below them. Protocols will be followed and carried out as per the demotions and removal rule in the guild.
If the guild leader is absent for two months or more, the Attache will be acting guild leader until the guild leader returns. This role can only be designated to members who have been in the guild for at least 9-12 months and who have served on the Guild Alliance Council or as a General (high officer).

4.General (High Officer Level 60-65)
A distinct role for responsible managers in the guild. Members who have this rank have the ability to lead and control flash points, operations and any high level raids. A General will plan, organize and run regular level 55-65 teaming events within the guild and advertise their events on the guild website. This unique role is only given to people who demonstrate a willingness to lead, support and assist fellow members. It is expected that the General will communicate regularly on the guild forums and assist fellow members by answering any questions. This exclusive rank will be in charge of the Commanders and be the first contact for any operational concerns within the guild.

- Displays outstanding knowledge of flash points & operations
- Demonstrates leadership skills specifically in planning & leading all flash points & operations
- Effective communication skills in all raids
5. Commander (Officer Level 55-65)
This is an officer’s position within the guild. This role is delegated by the General/or Guild Leader as they see fit to help them on various tasks related to events and missions. The Commander rank must be at least level 55 & be an active member of the guild community. The candidate will be proficient in any teaming area for level 10-65, and have a willingness to lead any raids if the opportunity arises.
Commanders have an opportunity to create, advertise and lead any teaming event they desire for any level. The position will have the power to promote lower levelled classes to the respected rank and manage these ranks to ensure guild activities run smoothly

- Displays proficient knowledge of flashpoints, heroics and warzones
- Demonstrates competent leadership skills in raids
- Effective communication skills in leading teams
- Foster a spirit of teamwork and unity among guild members
6. Reserved Forces
This rank has two purposes.
1) All new Commanders of the guild will be on a one-month trial basis and will be placed in the ‘Reserved Forces’ rank. This is to ensure that they are comfortable with the rank and responsibilities. It is expected within the one-month period, that one guild event is to be planned, advertised and directed. If this is not possible, an extension can be granted if prior notice has been given to a higher ranked person of the guild. Upon conclusion of the one-month trial, the commander will be reviewed and debriefed, and if approved will continue their role and responsibility as full officer of the guild.
2) The second purpose is a temporary rank for members who are in high ranking positions such as Commander, General, Attache and Guild Leader. This rank is for these members who are away for more than two months and cannot fulfil their responsibilities. Upon return, the above member will be placed in their existing role before they were absent.
MEMBER TIER
7. Sith Warrior (Full Member)
This role is specific to force user classes of any level. The member will be granted full membership to the guild, a decent guild fund, repairs and a range of guild bank gear. The Sith Warrior is a disciplined master of the force and will assist all force users within the guild. It is encouraged that the Sith Warrior will answer any questions relating to skill builds, equipment and force classes on the guild website and in guild chat. Each Sith Warrior will have access to a generous selection of guild bank gear, guild and guild repair funds.
8. Imperial Solider
This role is specific to non- force classes of any level. The member will be granted full membership to the guild, a decent guild fund, repairs and a range of guild bank gear. The Imperial Soldier strengthens our guild, whilst displaying exemplary skill in their chosen field. The Imperial Soldier will assist and mentor all non-force users in the guild. It is encouraged that they will answer any questions relating to skill builds, equipment and game play for non- force classes on the guild website and in guild chat. Each Imperial Soldier will have access to a good selection of guild bank gear, guild and guild repair funds.
9. Junior Member
To progress from this rank the member must show activity in guild chat, participate in at least one guild event and register on the guild website and Facebook. A promotion to the respective rank (Sith Warrior or Imperial Solider) per your character will be given. Each Junior Member will have access to basic guild bank gear, basic guild funds and repairs and have permissions to recruit.
10. Recruit
All new members will enter as a “Recruit” until promoted to respective rank of Junior Member. If a recruit has stayed with the guild for one week, a promotion to Junior Member will be automatic. Each recruit will have access to limited guild bank gear and guild funds for repairs.
Guild Recruitment
It is expected all active members of the guild will advertise our guild and act as recruitment campaigners for our guild.
Please be aware we play in (GMT+10 Sydney Australia) time zone, however all players and timezone’s are welcome.
Could we kindly ask that you label the date and the time zone of the person you have recruited in the members/and or officers note, this will assist with promotions and helps us plan events in the prospective time zones. More information on guild recruitment will be available on our guild website soon.
Advertising Events
All members from Commander to Guild Leader are welcome to organise and advertise any events on our guild forums and face book page.
Please note that we do play in (GMT+10 Sydney Australia) time zone, however you can organise any event in your own time zone.
In order to advertise these events, each member will need to register for our guild forums and create their event on Facebook and this will automatically be advertised on our guild forums for everyone to view.
